Solar Buyback Program

Infuse Energy buys back excess solar generation at the customer’s purchase price capped an amount equal to 100% of their usage from the grid for that billing period.

  • Infuse will net out excess solar generation you put back on the grid from the amount you use from the grid up to your total usage from the grid for that billing period.
  • Infuse will buy back the excess electricity at the contract sales price.
  • In order to participate, you will need to be enrolled into a Lean Green Infusion or Loyalty Green Infusion plan

To receive the benefits of the solar buyback program, you must (i) have an interconnection agreement in place with your TDU to connect your renewable energy system to the power grid; (ii) have a meter installed by your TDU that separately measures the in-flow and out-flow of electricity to and from your home (your TDU may assess a charge for this meter, which would be passed through to you on your Infuse bill); and (iii) be an Infuse residential electricity customer enrolled on a plan eligible for solar buyback.
